實驗室介紹

我們是一個研究神經新生(Neurogenesis)的實驗室,致力於探索腦部發育與相關神經發育障礙疾病的奧秘,利用果蠅大腦和人類類腦組織培養為模型模式來探討神經幹細胞如何被調控以幫助神經新生及大腦的發育,並為神經發育障礙疾病發展可能的治療標的。


實驗室研究方向

我們的實驗室致力於探索腦部發育與相關疾病的機制,特別是研究神經幹細胞如何從休眠狀態被喚醒,並啟動新神經元的生成。我們結合果蠅與人類類腦器官這兩種強大的研究模型,利用遺傳學、生物化學、分子生物學及生物影像分析技術,深入了解神經幹細胞的活化機制與其在腦部發育中的關鍵角色。此外,我們也專注於神經發育障礙的致病機制,針對自閉症和小頭症等神經發育障礙的致病基因,期望揭示背後的機制,為未來的治療策略提供新的希望與方向。


實驗室目前的研究方向:

1.探討神經幹細胞的顯微環境(niche)如何影響幹細胞的行為。

2.探討星狀膠質細胞如何喚醒休眠中的神經幹細胞。

3.探討自閉症類群障礙(Autism Spectrum Disorder)的致病基因如何影響神經幹細胞的行為。
