實驗室介紹

歡迎來到我們的實驗室。

我們正在研究主題的是幹細胞在糖尿病動物模式上的治療效果。我們長遠的目標是藉由幹細胞或其衍生物來發展出新的治療方式,使得糖尿病患者有治癒的希望。

另外我們與陽明大學陳天華教授及張明超教授、國衛院司徒慧康副院長、國防醫學院徐佳福教授有密切合作,並與台北榮總張效煌醫師、周伯鑫醫師、賴峻毅醫師及壢新醫院蕭振源醫師等臨床醫師,組成龐大的研究團隊陣容,共同參與肝臟、胰臟、心臟、骨頭及幹細胞的相關研究。

實驗室研究方向

糖尿病是一種由於胰島素缺乏或是胰島素的阻抗所引起的疾病。而糖尿病所導致的高血糖症,會對患者造成一系列的急性或慢性的健康問題,但到目前為止,卻還沒有一種治療方式可以完全治癒糖尿病。而在許多文獻指出幹細胞具有高度增生及多分化潛能,並且能調解免疫反應。因此我們實驗室藉由這些幹細胞的特性,來達到治療糖尿病的效果。

我們實驗室將實驗分為兩階段,在細胞實驗方面,我們將來自臍帶的瓦頓氏凝膠間葉幹細胞分離純化,並將細胞在正常氧氣濃度或低氧氣濃度環境下培養,進行包括形態學、細胞生長及自我更新能力、多分化潛能測試,並測試細胞遷移能力、免疫抑制、抗細胞凋亡的功能。

在動物實驗方面,我們將NOD小鼠、大鼠、豬…等動物誘發成糖尿病動物模式,利用不同條件下培養的幹細胞或其分化細胞注射到動物體內,比較這些不同治療方式,對於糖尿病的治療效果及其機制的探討。
